Default Ex-Husband is threatening to take my daughter

Here is the situation with the background:

I was married to a man in GA and we have a daughter. We were divorced 2 years ago and I stayed in Georgia to finish my college degree. This summer I informed him that I would be moving to FL and getting married. I did so in writing, 30 days before we moved and he did not file a motion to keep me there.

Upon finding out that my new husband's income is not going to help lower his child support he became angry and said that "he shouldn't have let me take his daughter out of the state". He is now threatening to take her away from me. I do not think that a judge would do this considering many factors that he has against him. However, I want to do my best to avoid a nasty court dispute b/c I don't want to be drug into it and I CERTAINLY do not want my daughter exposed to it. She is almost 4.

    My questions are this:

-Our original divorce decree and child support was decided in GA, but I now live in FL. Where do modifications to child custody/support need to take place?

-What is a typical visitation schedule when the CP and NCP live 6 hours apart?

Our previous schedule was every other weekend, 2-2 week periods during the summer and selected holidays he got and others that I got.

I made the offer when I moved of giving him almost the whole summer...for example, him 2 weeks, me a week, him 2 weeks, me a week, and repeat until the end of summer. I also offered to bring her up to him at least every 6 weeks and drive her back at my expense, all of spring break, all of Thanksgiving and half of Christmas (he is Jewish and I am Catholic... so I have her on Christmas day and then he has her until school starts back in January)

He currently has her in Georgia and is being very nasty and threatening to me. I am concerned what he is going to do during this two week period. He is already refusing to return her when we aggreed to and it will cause her to miss a school function (open house) for her new school.

-Can I force him to return her at the end of the 14-day visitation so she will be able to attend her school event? Which state if I can?

I am sorry so long... I am just very stressed by his actions and behavior especially since he has my daughter.

    -Sad and scared in Florida

At this point, how long has the child's domicile (legal residence) been in Florida?
