I am under contract to purchase a home in Florida that was a bank approved short sale in Florida. After waiting many for the bank approval the tenant does not want to move and I want the house. The tenant did not pay last month's rent to the current owner because he did to trust the owner would give him his deposit back. The seller served the tenant with a 3 day notice but does not want to continue with the eviction process. I offered the tenant $1,500 "Cash for Keys" so he can just leave, but I feel he wants to try to get more money. Since I am under contract to buy the house and the 3 day notice has already been served, can I start the eviction process? Do you know how long the eviction process can take? The house is in Orlande Florida. Thanks you
