No I do not work and I attend on going to the housing for a low income apartment and I attend on getting a job plus child support. I will not know nothing until tuesday.

And where ever you live just has low income apartments sitting at the ready with no wait list and the job market is so great where you are you can just walk outside and get a job? You really have no plan as to how you're going to support these kids, do you? All of your "ideas" circle around having someone else responsible for your support.

The only issue right now is I have no job and no car because my husband left me with no money and no car. But in oder for me to still have my kids I am going monday morning.

What happens if his parents put you out? What happens if it takes a few months (or years) before he starts to pay his child support?

I agree....but realistically speaking, it's not likely to matter too much.

It's Tennessee. She won't be penalized for not working or going on welfare. Short of Dad proving her unfit - and her income (or lack thereof) honestly won't matter too much in TN - she's likely going to remain the primary parent.

How long does it take to get low income housing in your area?
What happens if his parents put you out in the meantime? What's your game plan? He didn't leave yesterday.... surely, you've thought of this, especially since his parents, which you live with... aren't exactly on your side.

Really? Because if she's got NO income and NO home and you can't get welfare in a day... that causes a bit of an issue. Hey, my judge just removed a child from her mother for the EXACT same reason. There's no stability from a wing and a prayer...

OK, let's rewind a tad.

Are you about to become literally homeless with absolutely NOWHERE to go? Have you been served with eviction papers? (since you are likely legally a tenant)

No im not going to be homeless and no to eviction but my husbands parents can kick me out anytime.
