My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio

Ok, so I have this situation where I am considering filing a police report of sexual assault on this former friend of mine. The incident occurred back in January. I want to know what kind of evidence I would need for this person to be charged. Considering it was months ago, I'm afraid nothing will come of it and be a waste of time because of it being a He Said/She Said situation. Problem is, this incident has caused me to fall into a bad habit of binge drinking, as it has scarred me I guess you can say. And I'm also embarrassed to move foreward with this considering I'm a guy while the person committing the crime is a female. It seems to me like in most sexual crime cases, the jury/judge tend to side with the female.
