My question involves an eviction in the state of: Texas
Okay, I am a sucker for being nice. I own one primary home in the state of Texas with my family of 5. I since let another friends family move in with us since they were moving to Texas. We agreed verbally only to let them stay for 2 months and then after the two months, they would have to help on bills. Basically the first month they just drug their feet and blew through their money. When it came time for them to pay after the 2 months, they are flat broke. They finally got jobs which they are starting now. I ended up having to let them use my sons room while he has kindly occupied the couch. They do have property here and do have their mail coming here. I am trying to find out my options before I actually collect any money from them to help with the expenses. Should I get something going in writing now that the two months is up? If they could help me with bills and such it wouldnt probably be an issue but me on one income supporting a house of 11, is financially draining. This last month, I spent $1700 dollars more then I made. I cant have too many more months like that or I am putting my family in jeopardy. Please help ASAP
