    Default Curfew As a Condition

My question involves civil rights in the State of: Vermont

Is a court curfew saying that I have to be inside 5:30PM-9am and 24 hours sat/sun is this a violation of my right to liberty? I feel as I'm being controlled and I have not been convicted of any crimes other then a CNN of a car over 3 years ago.

You're joking, right? You haven't paid attention to the fact that when you choose to commit crimes you can actually be locked into a jail cell, where you will have a lot less liberty than you have on probation with a mere curfew.

You have the option of refusing your curfew and, instead, being incarcerated.

How do you think that will effect your liberty?

Wow awesome thanks for the information I didn't know that. I haven't been convicted of any crime and our constitution say's "innocent till proven guilty" not the other way around. I've read that people have challenged court imposed curfew and won. Was a simple question.

    Thanks

You only said that the court imposed a curfew. NOW you are saying that it wasn't part of a conviction.

We can only work with what you tell us.

Regardless, the COURT imposed a curfew on you... I am guessing as part of your bail. Again, if you don't like the court conditions, don't accept them.

The judge basically imposed the curfew, I'm not on bail it's just a condition. I just think that the fact that I have no prior record other than a CNN and pending charges they treat me like a murderer
