My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: California
I have a roommate who was never put on my lease. Because of stolen property involving a guest she had over, I no longer feel safe and want her out.
I am trying not to get my landlord involved since I am not allowed to sublease without permission, and no permission was granted.
On April 4th, she had stated through email that she would stay through the entire month of May, but on the 18th said she would be out in 30 days, therefore not paying all of May. I responded on the 18th stating this was not acceptable because it went against our previous agreement and that she will need to be out by April 30th.
However, she is threatening not leaving and I already have another person lined up in May to take her spot.
How can I GET HER OUT!?!?
Thanks for your help!
