My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
I have a petit theft arrest with no conviction. I was given a pre-trial intervention program and I have applied for expungement. I am in the process of leasing a new condo and I know they do criminal background checks so my arrest will show. I know every situation is unique so before someone says they 'cannot look into a crystal ball and see the future', I just wanted to know (based on the general rules of most condos) what is the likelihood that my condo application would be denied based on this past arrest but no conviction? I have tried looking for the policies for this specific condo online but they don't have a website. I'm meeting with them to complete the application tomorrow so I just wanted to have an idea of what to expect. Thanks!
