    My response:

Apparently, you didn't understand what Happy Trails wrote to you. Let me translate it for you - - the reason why there hasn't been any cases of Alienation of Affection in the last 20 years is because the Illinois State Legislature has gutted the law. It was far different 20 years ago. All that's left for a Plaintiff (you) to obtain - - IF YOU CAN PROVE YOUR CASE - - is "actual damages." Usually, there's no "actual damages" (i.e., "out of pocket expenses"). Therefore, there's no attorneys who would take such a case because "there's no money in it."

It's time to move on with your life.

(Move your life on),I here that a lot on this thread, but I think even if there are no actual damages, other then out of pocket, I believe it should be about the principle I think. Call me nieve or stupid, but why should trash go unpunished even if it is only punishment in a public forum where these type of people have to come out from under neath the rock they hide under. Phone records, conversations with my children and admissions to friends and family would be sufcient to prove the case. Thanks for the advice

I love it when people spend dollars to go after pennies! Those are the best kinds of clients.

Good luck, but you're chasing your tail.

Bobby, I agree with IAAL, unless you are loaded and have money to throw around (just so you can prove a point), this will be a waste of time and money.
