Default Failure to Yield, Left Turn at an Intersection

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Arizona

I stopped at a traffic stop, which was already (round)green but i wanted to make a left turn to the road, so when I saw that there was only one car coming, I moved my car to the middle of the intersection. And when the car entered the turn right only lane, I moved my car closer to the turn but the other driver did not make the right turn and travelled right in front of my already-moving car resulting in her car being t-boned by mine.. no serious injuries and there was damage to both cars but none are totalled. The officer gave me a ticket ARS 28-772 and its Civil Traffic. This is my first traffic violation and no injuries reported at the scene or by the insurance company of the other person. There was one witness but she didn't see anything but impact

So should I fight this or am I getting the blame no matter what?

It certainly would see you are guilty of the traffic infraction.
You might in the civil liability argue some amount of fault on the other driver, but frankly, T-boning someone while doing a left turn is going to be hard to argue away your liability.

should i try to take it to court thought to see if the judge sees it my way or is it that he's not even gonna listen to my side and just look at the fact that it was a t-boned left turn intersection traffic accident?
and what are the chances that even if i'm found guilty there the judge would probably let me do the traffic school?

28-772. Vehicle turning left at intersection
The driver of a vehicle within an intersection intending to turn to the left shall yield the right-of-way to a vehicle that is approaching from the opposite direction and that is within the intersection or so close to the intersection as to constitute an immediate hazard.

The fact that you t-boned the other vehicle, is sufficient proof that you failed to yield. Of course you're free to contest it and see if you can get the charge or the fine reduced... You might want to check with the court first to see if there are any additional court fees for contesting it.

You'll have to check with the court on that as well or possibly look though the court's website for more info.
