My question involves an eviction in the state of: FL
My current lease expires 4/30 and the realty company has made it clear that there would be no lease extention. Housing is scarce here....and the only one that I've found won't be available for occupancy until 6/5. I hate to have an eviction on my record, but I have no where else for myself and my three children to go until 6/5. Can the realty company show up on 5/1 with the sheriff's department and make me vacate the house immediately or do they have to go through eviction proceedings. I'd rather have that on my record to buy me the time I need....than to be totally homeless.
