My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Georgia
The situation is this: My friend was driving my car, which is fully insured, and was rear ended. Clearly the other driver is at fault. When the officer pulls my friend's Licenses he is told that his licenses was suspended.
The officer was kind enough to let him go with a warning. Apparently the licenses was only suspended a few weeks ago. My friend with the suspended licenses did not even know that it was suspended.
Anyways, the question is: can the at-fault insurance company deny payment because of my friend's suspended licenses? Or would they know at all? There was no ticket issued for driving on suspended licenses. Is this something to worry about? What can I expect?
P.S. The car is likely totaled, if that helps at all in understanding the situation.
