Exclamation Changing a Baby's Name in Texas

My question involves name change laws in the State of: Texas
I want to completely change my sons middle name from scott to karson. he is only 4 months old. how would I go about doing this? i know some states if they are under 6 months then you dont have to go before a judge but cant find if it applies to texas.

so is there a paper i can file or do i have to go to judge even though hes so young?
in general how would i start this? i dont want to have to get a lawyer?
    Im in texas (collin county)

FYI: Im wanting to change his name because i saw the name karson and fell in love and then let people change my mind and go with a tradional name and have regretted it ever since. Thought i could put the name Karson out of my mind but i cant. i like the name scott its just not him. His first name is william.
