Default How Long Would I Have to Run

My question involves criminal law for the state of: massachusettes

I recently have been charged with 13 counts of breaking and entering in the daytime to commit a felony, 12 counts of larceny from a building, nine counts of malicious destruction of property over $250, 15 counts of receiving stolen property over $250, and one count of being a common and notorious thief. and i just missed my last court date . how long would i have to run in order to put the statute of limitations in effect?

Forever. The statute of limitations stopped running when you were charged.

exactly... you are never going to get away from this, statue of limitations only applies to the amount of time that passes before you can actually be charged but since youve already been charged with serious mulitiple offenses you are always going to have a warrant out for your arrest, they might not be out to look for you with swat team or anything like that but you will get picked up, probably when you least expect it...

oh ya they will definitly spend the money to extradite him back to his state for that many felonies.. And futhermore i dont have any sympathy for people with these kinds of charges, i know times are rough in the country right now and its hard to find a job, but people work hard for the things that they have and it really pisses me off that people like you think its ok to just take whatever you want and think that there will be any consequences.. good luck with your run from the law

As already said, once you are charged, there is no statute of limitations. Even if you had not been charged and there was, leaving the state would generally toll the statute of limitations anyway.

So you had bail and failed to appear. That is really stupid. If you had played the game you could have gotten alot of those charges dropped, been out on bail for months or years, and had a chance to do other things. You must have an attorney.
You should contact your attorney and arrange a surrender, come up with a good story and maybe get your bail back.
