My question involves a foreclosure in the State of: California
We have been renting a house since 6/08 and just found out the owner has not made his payments since 12/10. Our property manager has told us we will have to be out at the end of our lease 5/31/11. The owner is listing the house as a short sale while we are living here! People will be walking through my house is this legal? The notice of default has been recorded with the county 3/7/11. What are my rights and who do I pay rent to? HELP!!!
