My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Massachusetts
I recently was let go from a temp position for a major Financial Service company. I was let go due to cuts to the department. My work and performance had nothing to do with the decision. I was offered to interview for another position in the company. A job and industry I was very interested in. The interviewers told me about the position and described a completely different position to what I was told my first day on the job.
Its basically another short term job with no opportunity for perm. This company is outsourcing like crazy and minimizing its work force.
My question is would I be able to collect if I leave under those circumstances to actually take the time and search for a permanent job.
