I'm 17 and I Want to Get Emancipated

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Florida.
I'm 17 years old and recently a lot of things have been happening with my mom & I.
My father isn't in my life & I'm an only child. I recently came out to my mom
about my sexcuality & since then its been nothing but emotional and mental abuse
and i can't take it anymore. I want to go through the process but I don't even
know were to begin. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In the state of Florida, your parents must be the ones to initiate the emancipation petition. If they don't, emancipation will not happen.

Additionally, if you don't already have a proven track record of supporting yourself 100% while maintaining good grades, it won't happen even if your parents initiate the petition.
