Default Spouse is Delaying Filing Consent Decree for Divorce

My question involves a marriage in the state of:Hawaii

Just one month prior to our scheduled pre-trial conference, I finally got her to agree and sign a decree last Friday. Now I am being told that my lawyer has not dropped off the supporting documents (appearance and waiver etc) for filing. My lawyers assistant is telling me I have to wait until the pre-trial conference on may 11 to file a motion to force her to file the decree.

Is this true? I want to get this filed soooo bad so I can move on with my life.

    Thanks in advance

I have no reason to doubt your lawyer's counsel to you. I do not have access to the court docket or file, so I'm not in a position to second-guess.
