My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: PA
Thanks for reading my question. I'm currently a doctoral candidate, about to receive an offer as an asst. professor (three year contract teaching job at my private university). My question is whether or not being a member of a BDSM-oriented social networking site will expose me to termination risk.
As a grad student I think I have little risk--my offer sheet and department policy book are very explicit about termination cause (limited to an academic basis). But the contract for the professorship will likely have language about termination for cause including immoral conduct. The social networking site I'm at is not a dating/sex site, but people do talk about sex (and politics, religion, football, etc.). I don't have my name, institutional affiliation, etc. anywhere on my profile, but I do have some pictures.
Am I/would I be exposing myself to employment risk?
