Caught Switching Price Tags at a Store

I know, I know...how stupid and retarded. I seriously don't know why I did it. But one thing is sure, I've learned my lesson. I bought three things from a store and I switched the tags to cheaper prices in the dressing room. When I got to the cash, the guy noticed and changed back to prices to the original amount. Then I paid with my credit card, so they have all of my info. They did not retain me but I was wondering if they could come after me??? I'm sooo scared and ashamed of what I have done. I don't understand what came over me. I hope they don't put my picture up or something and I guess I shouldn't go back to that store ever again?

They have up to a year to press charges.

They may not do it now, but if you show your face in that store again, you can expect to be followed and watched closely.
