My question involves paternity law for the State of: Washington
4 months ago my nephew was born. The mother of the child had her boyfriend sign the birth certificate and now the boyfriend and his parents are playing house w/the baby and have no intentions to remove his name. Recently they issued my parents with a restraining order and put the baby on it also. A paternity test was done online and came back as my brother being the father. I was told the boyfriend did a paternity test at the hospital and it was proven he is not the father. It seems they have all the power just because he signed the birth certificate.
Also, my 3 nieces are on a restraining order against the mother for domestic violence. My family doesn't know what to do and have little funds and the other party has endless funds. Please help guide us in the right direction and reunite us with our newest addition. We have only been able to see him 3 times in 4 months.
