My question involves restraining orders in the State of: CA/GA
Can a person who owes you money and is the primary borrower (you're the cosigner and the primary is not making the payments) put a restraining order against you for contacting them regarding the money/loan situation?
I have been trying to contact the person regarding on how to handle the loan situation and the person has been ignoring me and telling me he will handle the payments (in writing as well) and yet he has not and I've been trying to get information regarding the loans so I could handle the ones I've assisted with. He refuses to contact me or tell me any information and threaten to put a restraining order against me (not to contact him via phone).
Is that possible? I have not been threatening and have just been wanting information on the loan that is under my name as well (but outside places won't give me the information because I'm not the primary).
