Question Pilot Work on J1 Visa

    Hello,

In short: I am currently on a J1 visa which was issued for flight training at the start of 2010 my training will be completed soon and I have obtained a commercial and instructors certificate (license).

Looking for work, I have come across a company that may hire me as a pilot (not an instructor). Under what circumstances may I work for this company?

As I was told by the training institution, I may only work as an instructor. Is it the case that the requirement is only that the work is relevant work experience?

Thanks in advance for your help.
