My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio. What can be expected for a first time offender. Drug possesion 2925.11a your answer is highly appreciated

Thank you for the response,After my post I found out that a package containing less than a 1/4 of gram of the control subtance fell out his wallet when he was emptying his said he realized he had it. Thats and possession is reason for the indictment ( inside a Legal bldg). This all happen over 4 months ago he has been going to AA and driving to and from work only and following to the T what judge instructed including checking in weekly. None of whats happening was mention before.
