Question How Do I Change My Kids Names to Their Fathers Last Name

My question involves name change laws in the State of: Texas
Me and my kids biological father have finally decided to get married after 16 years, and at birth our kids were given my last name, but his name is on their birth certificate. When we get married how do i go about getting their names changed to his as well in Texas?

Assuming he's the legal father, this one is easy-peasy

You simply go down to the court house and get the relevant minor name-change forms, fill them out and pay the filing fees. You don't even have to wait until you're married!
