I'm not so sure. This *may* be a pretextual termination, though I don't think we have enough info to say for certain. Antrc may be right but there are red flags going up for me.
A couple of questions, Ed. Were the weight restrictions going to be temporary or permanent? Did you give the employer medical certification of the restrictions? Prior to the surgery was lifting these weights part of your job?
How many employees does the employer have? Did you work full or part time prior to the surgery?
