My question involves a foreclosure in the State of: California
Can I prevent foreclosure by paying my assessment amount, while disputing the overinflated attorney fees? The attorney originally ran up a bogus bill, while NOT accepting my payment of $7000. Now they placed a lien in the amount of $11k only $2500 is assessments is due. Should I pay the assessment amount or will they foreclose anyway? What is my best plan of action at this point to prevent foreclosure on my home?
