Non-Custodial and Medical Coverage

My question involves child support in the State of: TEXAS

The custodial parents has carried my children on her insurance for years. And I have been reimbursing her all those years as well. I have now decided to add them to my insurance because it's cheaper. We have a conference schedule for April, will the Attorney General allow me to make that change. I know the custodial parent will not be happy with this change, due to the fact that I won't have to reimburse her anymore. In TEXAS the non-custodial parent is responsible for carrying the child on there insurance. What chance do I have in making this change or if the courts will allow it?

Didn't the AG already tell you that it's up to the CP to decide?

The question of who is to provide insurance should be addressed in the custody and support order, to which we have no access.

No the AG didn't mention that it's up to the CP to decide. In TEXAS the non-custodial should provide the coverage. But she has been providing it for years. And I'm reimbursing her.

Attorney General tells us it's up to the custodial parent to decide that.

I don't understand why it's up to the custodial. If in Texas it states the non-custodial is responsible. How is it up to the custodial to decide. ???
