My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Massachusetts

My ex has physical custody while we share joint legal custody. We have a long distance parenting plan which stipulates my parenting time. Our relationship is contentious at best.

My question is this: I'm being sued for contempt of court because I did not provide her with the details of a trip I took my chid on during my scheduled parenting time to another state. I do not read or understand the contract as she does and now she is suing me.

If I'm found to be in contempt of court will they give her sole custody as she's asking? She's also filled several other motions as well. Motion for Custody, a Guardian Ad Litem and a trial. I will be represented while she has filed Pro Se not sure if that matters. I thought that what I do during my parenting time is my business?

I should mention that if I'm found in contempt this would be the first time.

What can I expect?
