Default Account Reported on Credit After Bankruptcy

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: WASHINTON

Hello I just have a few question if you guys could answer these for me that would be great

I filed bankruptcy in 2009 and it was discharged. Now I am in the process of rebuilding my credit I used to have about twelve collection accounts now I only am down to three collection accounts. I have been monitoring my credit with only experian latley and one day I noticed an alert on my credit report, The alert said that RJM ACQ LLC is reporting potentially negative information on my credit report. Now this account had been on my credit report for sometime but I have never recieved an alert its reporting negative information. So I call up rjm and tell them that I filed bankruptcy on this account and for them too stop reporting negative information on my report. They said they will check and then came back on the phone and said this is how they report this information to credit bureaus the only way I could see them reporting any negative stuff on my report is if I missed a payment on an account but there are no payment for this account so how could they report a missed payment. Below I have copied and pasted information off my credit report I hope this helps you guys. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP AHEAD OF TIMES

    (MY QUESTION) PLEASE ANSWER
    (1) I don't understand why it says theres terms of one month there was no agreement or payment plan or anything?
    (2) How can they report negative information on a monthly basis I thought it was a one time thing to place it on a report?
    (3) Are they reporting late payments or something ?
    (4) They say they did nothing wrong this is how they report information are they breaking the law?
    (5) On the 24 month payment history sections it says KD for five months?
    (6) How come bank of america account doesn't alert me like this rjm one does if thats how they report?
    (7) I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy on bank of america account also it does not say included I send them letters and called them?
    (8) Bank of america account says transfered to another lender why are they still reporting it then and not a collection agency?
    (9) Credit report says I have NO COLLECTION ACCOUNTS I use experian Triple AdvantageŽ Credit Monitoring how can this be no collections?
(10)Beucase of RJM reporting this information my credit score dropped from 665 to 585 why so many points?
(11)Other then what I have mention can you see any other information in my favor I can get corrected to help increase my score?

If you're asking whether your declaration of bankruptcy prevents discharged debts from being accurately reported to credit reporting agencies, no it does not. If the reports are inaccurate, dispute them with the agencies.

We'll I filed bankruptcy on all of these accounts why is bank of america not included in bk and i have let bank of america know i filed bankruptcy on this account several times so they do know and it looks like rjm is reporting negative information on a monthly basis the only thing i can think of is that there reporting non payment every month to try to hurt my score but there is no payment to be made its a collection account its not a credit card lol.

The only one I see of interest is the secured credit card, since it was a secured card, the assets used to secure it should have been claimed by the lender. Hence it was likely NOT included in the bankruptcy, you would need to look at your filing to see for sure.

As for the first one, it is accurate.
Bankruptcy doesn't wipe your credit report clean, all the debt you had before will still be listed, you just don't have to pay it now (depending on which chapter you filed under). It will stay on your report as "included in bankruptcy" or similar wording for at least 7 years.

If you feel a debt was included and that creditor is still trying to collect, contact the attorney who did your bankruptcy and let them know. Agencies are subject to penalties for such collection actions.

As for reporting, it's up to the creditor, some report monthly, some only every few months.

Bank of america is included in my bankruptcy thats for sure. they have not tried to collect the debt but they also are not willing to change the status of the account. I don't know why the funds were not collected from the secured credit card that should have paid the account off correct ? bank of america is reporting this account no collection agency has it they say at the bottom transfered to another lender whatever that means bank of america has it and i have notified them over 20 times they refuse to change status
