    Default Stalking Charges in Texas

My question involves criminal law for the state of: TEXAS

Hello all, I've got some questions involving the stalking statute.

The statute has an intent requirement written into it, and I'm curious if it is a GENERAL intent or a SPECIFIC intent that the ADA must prove?

In addition, I'm curious if stalking cases that make it to trial often result in conviction? I'd like to post some specifics of my case up here to obtain opinions on the tenability of my position, but I'd to know if it's a good idea. If I can post some details of my case, what should I leave out to avoid "sharing personal details"?

The intent can be inferred from the pattern of conduct. I'm not going to guess about how difficult it would be to prove a pattern based upon conduct I know nothing about, and the same goes for odds of conviction. Talk to a criminal defense lawyer.
