Default SSI and Having a Child

    Hello,

I'll only be on SSI a few more months, thankfully. During that time, however, I'll be having a child. Does this affect payments in any way? Do I have to do anything else, like contact them?

    Thanks again.

doesn't affect your payments. But you are supposed to report when someone moves into your home, and that includes a baby.
