Sandwiched between a thread of communications there are two emails one right after the other. One is from the same address the other is to, but are two hours apart within minutes. Also any header for the email sent from the same address to the same address is absent altogether. It's like there's a missing email, header and all.

    Any thoughts to this?

Plenty of possibilities exist, but nothing to indicate a crime.

As I said, if you feel you were denied due process or somehow wronged by the university, consult an attorney and see if you have any grounds for a lawsuit to compel them for redress or to compensate you and make you whole.

If you insist on pursuing some criminal angle you may waste the time that might be better spent attempting to address any disciplinary issues that occurred.

That's the point. The deception was no student codes filed, which left the student to believe a criminal report existed being there is a police report filed with campus police and began as a criminal investigation. There are official documents that show no student codes were filed and the same officials had an assessment by an officer stating there is and dated prior to the other documents. The official involved lied to a higher official about this as well.

The gain? Political and most likely monetary. There was bad press during the same time of this case. The publishings are about political misconduct by the official in this case, but with other students. Going through proper grievance processes would have exposed a mistake this official stopped from being exposed by dismissing the disciplinary file from the student's academic records. The mistake was made after the deception was made.

    Thoughts?

    Okay.

Still not a matter for the police after their investigation.

Again, if the school screwed up with their policies and procedures, you can have an attorney look at the facts and render an opinion as to whether or not a lawsuit is viable and to what end one might be useful.

This is a civil matter, not a criminal one. The campus cops are not the thought police.
