My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Kansas
Moved out last summer, no issues, all is clean but no deposit back because "there was no deposit paid" even though black on white clearly on my lease, it says:
Security Deposit Amount: $75
Date Paid: xx.xx.xxxx
Explanation: "They made a mistake when they put that on the lease."
Can you believe that?
What can I do after words and talking fails? $75 is probably less than what lawyers charge so what are my options?
