I was charged with simple battery and sentenced to 12 months probation with roughly 6 thousand dollars restitution. Upon sentencing I paid one thousand as agreed upon from victim to prevent any jail time. I was ordered to pay one hundred dollars a month towards the remaining balance of the restitution. After one year of probation there was still a balance of roughly 3600. I violated and was bonded out. The majority of opinions I've heard is that because I've met all terms of probation "monthly payments, court cost, anger management" the balance would be ordered as a lien against me. My concern is that I've heard I may lose my license until the lien is paid? License currently suspended and I'm about to pay 1300 to have reinstated so I'm worried that it will be a waste if it is about to be suspended anyway. please advise
