Default G2 Dependent. Section 13 (Diplomat) AOS

    Hello,

I've been doing some research and came across this:

    http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/usc...00082ca60aRCRD

To sum up the page, a person admitted under a G-2 visa can adjust their status to LPR if certain requirements are met. I know that I am a dependent (or was for that matter) of someone under a G-2 visa that expired.. Will I meet the requirement of being admissible to the US as PR even though I'm in the country under an expired visa?

    Quote Quoting Eligibility Criteria
You may be eligible to receive a green card under Section 13 if you can establish that:
You entered the United States as an A-1, A-2, G-1, or G-2 nonimmigrant
You failed to maintain your A-1, A-2, G-1, or G-2 nonimmigrant status
Your duties were diplomatic or semi-diplomatic
There is a compelling reason why you or your immediate family cannot return to the country which accredited you as a diplomat
You are a person of good moral character
You are admissible to the United States for permanent residence
Granting you a green card would be in the national interest of the United States
Assuming for now you could satisfy the final two elements, how do you propose to meet the boldfaced criteria?
