My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas
five siblings just inherited 20% each of 12.634% of five parcels in five different counties in Texas. this has been sitting my my grandmothers estate for many many years. the estate has been handled by a large bank trust division. now it has been handed over to the five siblings. the bank has not been paying any taxes. has had liability insurance. they have no clue who owns the rest of the shares. surface rights only. why would anyone want to own something with little to no value and then just a percentage. how the heck can i get rid of this....or find out if it has any value at all...which i doubt.
