My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: WA

Hi everyone. I appreciate your time in looking at this.

I just received my notice of hearing for the appeal of my unemployment claim which I have filed, after having my claim denied. My employer says I voluntarily quit via job abandonment, a claim which is untrue, and feel like I can back up with facts and witnesses.

However, just prior to my being let go, another employee of the same company used my name to garner credit in my name on his behalf without my knowledge. I have since filed a police report on this incident.

My question is: do I contest that I did not abandon my work, or contend that i was the victim of a crime, which is just cause for leaving work voluntarily? Both are true, but I feel like if I say "I didnt quit" and the ALJ says I did, and then I come back and say "well then according to the information on unemployment benefits you sent me I can voluntarily quit and still receive UNemployment benefits if I was the victim of a crime" it just doesn't feel right... What should I do?
