Default How to Sell Mineral Rights

My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas

Hey guys, is it possible to sell ones mineral rights if the property has a tax lein on it? I know mineral rights and surface rights are considered two separate pieces of real estate under Texas law, but I was wondering if I would still be able to sell my mineral rights. Also, I plan to use to money from the mineral rights to pay off the back taxes.

From what you've told us I don't see why not - you could arrange for the lien to be paid off out of escrow.
