Looked through all the threads and do not find this exact situation. My ticket had a total of 8 initial errors (some of which are leaving parts blank & two that were corrected before I signed). The major 3 (which are still incorrect as of now) are wrong date, wrong color (I think this is even more negligent since one of the blank fields is the year model of the vehicle and we are talking total different color I'm not splitting hairs over red vs maroon), and no statute number at all even tho the ticket clearly says for the officer to define and write the statute number. He did define. I did not do what the cop said but I know that in all honesty that is really not important bc he says I did so that is the way the judge is going to rule. If these errors are not corrected how and when do I ask for my ticket to be dismissed @ my court date? If they are corrected is it probable to point out these errors to show that if he made that many errors on my ticket he made an error on if I violated what he said I did? Is it just better to try to do that b/c I'm gathering all he has to say is oh yea I messed up on the ticket I'll just reissue it and I'm still stuck with a fine I don't deserve. I have never in all my many many years of driving had a ticket and have only been pulled over once in 2 decades for a tail light being out. I wasn't even written a warning and had it fixed the very next morning.
Thanks so much for your time,
Cat
