    Default Temporary Protected Status

    how long does it usually take for them to send the letter for the appointment; from the time you recieve the reciept number (tps).

    Last I checked, the USCIS was sending out the appointment letter for biometrics upon receipt of the TPS application.

    the reciept date is june 12th but we have not heard anything since then....

    Then it would seem appropriate to follow up with the field office where you submitted the application, to see if there is a problem.
