My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California

I am about to hit 2 years, unfortunately I am still unemployed, a situation I hate very very very much (can't emphasize that enough).

I'm just wondering what happens next? Can anyone answer this for me?

Your unemployment runs out so you'll have no money coming in. Not paying rent may leave you homeless.

you continue to look for work but without the benefit of the unemployment income. Not really sure what you are looking for. I'm not familiar with the requirements for welfare in California. If you qualify, or believe you might, you should probably apply. Other than that, you scramble to keep things together like millions of other folks that are in the exact same situation.

I'm just looking for an answer to my question which is, do I get any more benefits after the 2 year mark? I hit my 2 year mark in about a month, so I'm just a little worried, well more like scare then anything else.
So there is no extension program of any sort? I've heard of people getting benefit even after 2 years. I continue to look for work, but damm I mean the job market sucks right now.

No and it isn't even actually 2 years. It is 99 weeks which is 5 weeks short of 2 years.

unless something drastic happens but I wouldn't expect it. It was hard enough getting this reinstated this time.

You start applying for the low wage (still hiring) jobs that are available all over CA...

because I doubt that there will be another extension bill anywhere. CA can't afford it, the feds can't afford it. I'd suggest you amp up your job search to include all those positions.... now.
