Default Am I on Track to Be Emancipated in the State of Texas

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of:TEXAS

I am a month shy of turning 17. I am trying to enlist in the army but do not have full support of my parents which I need. Because of my age I need them both to sign my papers.

My goal is to enlist for five years graduate from college and commission in as a 2LT with 5 years of experience. My biological father is now delaying this process in many different way, my mother is not much help they both don’t support my decision.
My home life is not the worse but it’s not the best. I am almost completely independent from my parents excluding rent, utilities and full cell phone payment. Pay for car insurance gas any repair my car needs half of my phone bill any school cost I have also my own groceries.

I currently have two jobs that have me at a pretty regulated schedule. As soon as I sign my delayed entry papers I will be receiving anywhere from $100 to $500 a month from the army, which also includes my medical insurance.

I have done tons of research but I am pretty sure I do not know anything I need to know any advice or something I haven’t covered? Could I live with a friend and pay half of everything as normal, would that count as being independent? Also I have lost communication with my father is that going to cause any problem with this process?

    Basically....no.

You do not qualify on your own merit for emancipation, and since you cannot enlist without parental permission you cannot emancipate that way either.

Please read the threads on emancipation. You're nowhere near independent; you said youself that you're not paying rent, utilities etc and you have no means to do so. $500 is not going to convince any court in the land.

You need to prove that you either have a record of supporting yourself, or have the means to do so - fully. No room-mates, no reduced rent, no anything else.
