    Default Hit and Run and Laws Covering a Victim

    My question involves a traffic accident in the State of: PA-Back in November ,Some lady that was DUI and under drug poss,hit my parked truck i was outside and seen her hit it,The police caught her a short distance away and a report was filed,I found out she had insurance when they contacted me ,They settled for $2500.00,Now she has the gull to stop by my house today and said she didn't hit me .And threatened me that she was going to get me for Ins fraud .My question is can she do that ? I didn't do anything wrong.

    She can do whatever she wants. Will the police give a great deal of weight to a drunk driver whose insurance, presumably, already investigated your claim and found it to be founded? I very much doubt it.

    Did you report the damage to the police at the time of this incident? I assume so, given that you say the insurance company contacted you (as opposed to your figuring out who they were and contacting them.)
