My question involves criminal law for the state of: california
After a bad argument, my then bf showed up at my house unaanounced. He begans screaming at me in broad daylight, calling me all kinds names, threatening to make scenes wheever i go, ect. I tell him to not do this on my property so he gets out my yard but the screaming continues. I decide to go back in my house and start to receive harrassing phone calls asking for things back that were mine. Getting fed up I threw my things that he requested out on my property away from him. He gets a hold of my phone that flew with the things, refusing to give it back. As i tried to reach for my phone while he's holding it over my head his arm was accidently scratched in the process. After he leaves, i received a call from an officer asking for a statement who says he'll foward it to the DA. My ex then tells me later that he plans to press charges. If my record is clean and he comes to my property acting in this manner, holding onto my property while im trying to call the authorities what can happen to me? An officer never showed up at my.property and i was never arrested.
