    Default Messy Roommate

My question involves a roommate in the State of: California

I have a roomie who has the disgusting habit of spitting and flicking his ash at the top of the stairs/outside landing of my apartment. When I come home i have to walk over 2 steps covered in ash and spit. I've asked him not to do that and he continues.

    What are my options?

Sad to say it's usually pretty much, suffer until your lease ends.

You're free to see if your landlord will do something about the situation.

Yes, talk to the landlord or find another way to have a talk with your room mate, if you agreed to share a home and the rent, then there mut be some kind of friendship, see if your roomie won't compromise.
