My question involves criminal law for the state of: Tennessee. I have a brother in law who was sentenced to 8 years probation for aggravated robbery against an elderly lady. He was able to not get arrested for a couple of years. He was then arrested for domestic assault against my wife and myself in October. He was able to bond himself out of jail. He has since been arrested for the domestic assault against his girlfriend last week. He bonded himself out once again. He has a court date next week for the first domestic assault charges against my wife and me and violation of probation charge. What are the chances of him actually having to spend some jail or prison time for his behavior and not just another slap on the wrist? His criminal history involves multiple DUI and minor drug charges, and the aggravated robbery charge.
