    Should judges make law? what are the advantages of judges making law?

    Yes they should, in fact Case-laws made kept the constitution alive. Its more flexible too

    Well, I disagree, in part. Case law is supposed to be created from significant cases where an important point or issue is settled so that it doesn't have to be litigated over and over again, but it could be if necessary. Activist judges create law or precedents that is/are totally new where there is no derivation or support from current law. The latter is an area where judges shouldn't be going.

    Thanks. I guess I am a little better informed than most. But if more people were aware of what is going on and expressed their dissent, then fewer judges would engage in this conduct and legislative bodies may become more prudent or weary about changing bad activist judge made law.

    No. Sometimes ho-r, they hor, will be bias. No fair to other human. Not good. They hor, will be influenced by those good good lawyer. Then hor, make case law only for rich human who can afford good good lawyer.
