Question Emancipation in the State of West Virginia

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: West Virginia
Hello, i was wondering if, since im 17 years of age, if i would be able to be emancipated from my parents in the state on West Virginia. Im in the process of finding a job at the moment. My father is in the military but is stationed 2 states away from me, my mom, and my little brother. My mom is never home, i see her sometimes here and there and she always has "work". Im always the one to cook, clean, make sure my brother is fed, bathed, taken where he needs to be, and always make sure that is homework is done and his grades are good. My mom used to do all these things untill i turned the age of 15. I've talked to my mom time and time again and she never wants to listen, she always says she'll start being home more but never fallows through with it. My dad is the one to provide me with money for food, house products, and school fuctions for my little brother, her not so much, but yet she works all the time. I was also wondering if i got emancipated would my little brother (age 13) be able to live with me if i was stable and able to pay for his needs, while also having him in school and going back and forth between parents if he wanted.
    Thank you.

    Very simply, no and no.

You do not meet the requirements for emancipation. Please read the other threads in this section.

And there is no way you'd ever get custody or placement of your little brother without permission from both of your parents.

And who do you think would do the cooking and cleaning if you were emancipated? There is no "emancipation fairy" that would do it for you.

You'd not only still be responsible for all the things you are complaining about doing, but also working enough hours to pay all your own rent, food, clothes, utilities, medical care, insurance, transportation, etc. etc. etc.
