Question Going Back to Court to Seek Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: Alabama

My ex and I have joint custody of our children. They live with me during the school year and stay with him during the summer. I did not have an attorney for my divorce and got swindled into him not having to pay child support. I would like to take him back to court in the next few months to seek child support. What type of documents/receipts do I need to hang onto to provide in court? Receipts from the grocery store, when we go out to eat, when I purchase clothes for the children...what else? When we stop at the convenience store and they get a drink and a snack? What? I have no clue!

    Thank you!

You don't need anything! You're not obliged to provide receipts or anything else of that nature.

Your children are entitled to child support and even if the divorce decree waived future support, that is NOT enforceable and you're free to file at any time.

    you can apply here .
